Pricing Guide
This pricing guide includes examples of popular items seen at our events. Use this resource to help you determine the value of your items.
Pricing 101
- Following our guidelines leads to more profit for YOU!
- Price fair, lower if unsure. Overpriced items won’t sell.
- Increase your price an average of $0.50-$1.00 per item you have to buy supplies for, or if you put more effort into cleaning. On just 100 items, you can generate an additional $50 to $100 just for making your items look presentable! Wash, iron, wipe down (scrub if needed), remove pet hair with lint roller.
- Count/include all pieces, include cheap batteries to boost sales and ensure customers that your items work!
- Always price things to MOVE. Your memories of an item does NOT increase it’s value to someone else. If you aren’t ready to let go of something, keep it…don’t overprice it.
- Review the pricing guide. Markets vary and prices are different from our Perry to our Conyers location. This is a general guide to meet those prices in an average range. As a rule of thumb, the Perry market is a bit higher than Conyers.
Discounting or Donating 101
- If an item hasn’t sold by the end of the event at full price, it was probably priced too high. Discounting an item gives it another chance to sell since customers look for “Sales”.
- Your time is money. Don’t waste time, labor, and supplies re-tagging and dropping off items sale after sale. MOVE your inventory and make the money now.
- Don’t want to pick up an item that does not sell? Click the donate check box as you create your tag. Donate items are eligible for “Dollar Dash” if they don’t sell by the end of the event. This gives you a last chance to sell the item for $1. If you mark something for DONATE, mark it for DISCOUNT too!
